How You Can
Help
There are many
ways that you can support the work of the Danvers State Memorial Committee:
- You can "Adopt-a-Grave"
and donate $80 dollars to replace one numbered marker with a proper
headstone
- You can make a donation
to cover the cost of purchasing perenial flowers, shrubs, and benches
for the cemeteries
- You can donate plants
from your gardens for the cemeteries
- You can donate money to
help support our general operating costs such as this website, newsletters,
mailings, etc.
- You can offer to sponsor
an event to raise money for the work of the Danvers State Memorial
Committee i.e., run an art show, a yard sale, a bake sale, etc.
- You can donate equipment
and supplies. Here is our wish list:
- Mini-DV digital camcorder
- Editing software
- Digital Audio Tape
(DAT) recorders and microphones for collecting oral history related
to the state hospitals
- Postage stamps
- You can donate some of
your time and become an active member of the Danvers State Memorial
Committee or the Memorial Group at a state hospital near your home.
Writing to you local legislators, attending our rallys and testifying
at statehouse hearings are all ways that you can get active with our
group. We need you!
